1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information
All Docs Reader does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect personal information such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Postal address
- Account credentials
- Government identification information
We do not sell personal information.
1.2 Documents and Files
All Docs Reader allows you to view, manage, and process supported documents stored on your device, including formats such as PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX.
Documents and files you open or process are handled locally on your device unless you explicitly use Android or another service to share, export, print, back up, or otherwise transfer a file.
We do not intentionally upload the contents of your documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, or other files to our servers.
1.3 Location Information
All Docs Reader does not request or intentionally collect your precise or approximate location. The app does not use location information for advertising, tracking, or personalization.
1.4 Device Identifiers
All Docs Reader does not intentionally collect persistent device identifiers such as:
- IMEI
- IMSI
- SIM serial number
- Android ID
- MAC address
- Advertising ID
The app does not intentionally use these identifiers to track you across applications or services.
2. Permissions Used by the App
All Docs Reader requests permissions only when they are necessary for functionality provided by the application.
2.1 All Files Access
On supported Android versions, All Docs Reader may request Android's
All files access permission
(MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE).
This permission supports the app's core document-management functionality, including locating and managing supported documents across shared storage locations on the device.
The permission is not used for advertising, user profiling, or unrelated data collection. Having access to files does not by itself cause their contents to be uploaded to our servers.
You remain in control of this permission through Android's system settings and can revoke it where Android provides that option.
2.2 Camera
If you use the scanning or OCR functionality, the app may request access to your device's camera.
The camera is used to capture documents or images for scanning and OCR-related functionality. Camera input is processed for the requested feature and is not intentionally uploaded to our servers.
You can deny or revoke camera access through Android permissions. Doing so may prevent scanning or camera-based OCR features from functioning.
2.3 Internet Access
All Docs Reader may use Internet access for limited functionality, such as:
- Retrieving certain fonts or other required application assets
- Loading externally hosted web content when you choose to access it
- Supporting other explicitly requested online functionality, if introduced in a future version
The app does not intentionally transmit the contents of your personal documents to our servers.
When the app connects to a third-party service, that service may receive technical information normally associated with an Internet request, such as an IP address. Such information is governed by the relevant third-party service's own privacy practices.
2.4 Vibration
The app may use vibration or haptic feedback during certain user interface interactions. Vibration does not involve collecting or transmitting personal information.
3. OCR and Google ML Kit
All Docs Reader may use Google ML Kit for supported OCR and document-scanning functionality.
The relevant ML Kit on-device APIs process their input on the device. According to Google's ML Kit documentation, input data and resulting outputs for these on-device APIs are processed on-device and are not sent to Google servers for that processing.
ML Kit may nevertheless communicate with Google services for operational purposes such as software fixes, updated models, or device and hardware compatibility information.
All Docs Reader does not intentionally send the content of your scanned documents, photographs, or OCR results to our servers for storage or analysis.
4. Third-Party Services and Software Libraries
All Docs Reader uses third-party software libraries and services where necessary to provide application functionality. These may include document-processing libraries, PDF and document rendering components, Google ML Kit, Android system services, and other technical dependencies.
These technologies may support functionality such as:
- Document rendering
- PDF processing
- Office document processing
- OCR
- Document scanning
- Font or asset retrieval
Third-party providers may process limited technical information as necessary to provide their services.
All Docs Reader does not intentionally provide your personal documents or document contents to third-party services for advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Advertising and Analytics
All Docs Reader is currently provided without advertising.
The app does not intentionally use advertising SDKs to display personalized advertisements.
The app does not intentionally collect or use your Advertising ID for advertising or tracking.
All Docs Reader does not intentionally use third-party behavioral analytics services to create advertising profiles based on your activity.
If advertising, analytics, or another data-collection service is added in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the applicable Google Play disclosures will be updated accordingly.
6. How Your Documents Are Handled
Your documents are primarily processed locally on your device.
When you open a supported PDF, Word document, spreadsheet, or presentation, the application processes the file using the document-processing functionality included in the app.
We do not operate a cloud storage account for your documents. We do not claim ownership of your documents. You retain ownership of the files and content you store on your device.
If you voluntarily use Android's sharing, exporting, printing, backup, cloud-storage, or other third-party functionality, the destination you select may receive the information you choose to share. Such transfers are initiated by you and are governed by the privacy practices of the destination service.
7. Local Data, History, Favorites, and Signatures
Certain application features may store information locally on your device, such as:
- Recently opened document history
- Favorites
- Application preferences
- Locally created signatures or related app data
This information is stored locally to provide the corresponding application functionality.
We do not operate a remote account system through which this information is synchronized to our servers.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Because All Docs Reader is designed primarily for local processing, information stored by the application remains on your device until it is deleted by you, automatically removed by the operating system, or removed by the application as part of its normal functionality.
You can delete locally stored application information by using available deletion controls within the app, including Clear History where applicable.
You may also remove the application's locally stored data through Android's system settings.
Uninstalling All Docs Reader generally removes the application's locally stored app data according to Android's standard application-data management behavior.
Documents stored in shared device storage are not necessarily removed when the application is uninstalled. If you want to permanently delete such documents, you must delete them yourself using the appropriate file-management functionality.
Because we do not provide a user account or remote document-storage service, there is generally no server-side document account that you need to request us to delete.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to limit unnecessary access to user information and to design the application so that document processing can occur locally on the device.
We do not intentionally collect or store your documents on our servers.
However, no software, device, operating system, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your device, including using a device lock, keeping Android updated, and controlling which applications receive access to your files.
10. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or your documents.
We do not intentionally share document contents with advertisers or data brokers.
Information may leave your device where necessary for a feature or service you explicitly use, for example:
- When the app connects to an external service to retrieve required assets such as fonts
- When you voluntarily share or export a document using Android or another service
- When a third-party technical service communicates for its own operational purposes
Where third-party services are involved, their own privacy policies and terms may apply.
11. Children's Privacy
All Docs Reader is not designed to collect personal information from children.
The app does not require users to create an account or provide personal information to use its core document-viewing functionality.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us through the application or through a service controlled by us, please contact us using the information below so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. Your Choices and Controls
You can control the application's access to sensitive device features through Android's permission settings.
Depending on your Android version, you can:
- Deny or revoke camera access
- Enable or disable All files access
- Clear the application's stored data
- Clear locally stored application information
- Uninstall the application
Disabling certain permissions may prevent the corresponding application functionality from working.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, its functionality, its third-party services, or applicable legal or Google Play requirements change.
When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the beginning of this policy.
